Liverpool Football Club’s historic 20th league title win has not only solidified its status as the most successful club in English football, but has also set new benchmarks in digital engagement, becoming the most interacted-with Premier League title victory of all time.
Following Sunday’s decisive win against Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool’s global fanbase generated over 71 million social media engagements across Sunday and Monday, according to figures released by Blinkfire Analytics. This represents a 23% increase compared to the 2022/23 title season, which previously held the engagement record, and a 91% increase compared to the prior season—making it the most engaged Premier League title triumph ever recorded across all major competitions.
Sunday alone marked a record-breaking day for the club on social media, with 58 million engagements logged and more than 1.1 billion impressions across Liverpool FC’s official digital channels during the matchday cycle.
In addition, the club registered more than 429 million video views across its platforms (excluding X), and attracted nearly 500,000 new followers during this period.
All data was compiled from major social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, TikTok, and YouTube, highlighting the global reach and influence of the club’s digital footprint.
Liverpool FC continues to lead the way in online engagement, having reached 1 billion engagements in March 2025—more than any other Premier League club this season.
Earlier this year, the club celebrated another major digital milestone, becoming the first Premier League club to receive YouTube’s Diamond Play Button, awarded for surpassing 10 million subscribers. That figure has since grown to more than 11 million subscribers, further establishing the club’s prominence in the digital space.
Liverpool FC attributes its continued growth in digital engagement to a strategic focus on high-quality, creative content. This includes original organic storytelling and comprehensive matchday coverage, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes access to both the men’s and women’s teams.
As the club continues to achieve success both on and off the pitch, its digital presence reflects the strength, passion, and global unity of the Liverpool FC community.
