Adventure Coast Southport promises big fun for a fiver this summer
5 hours ago

Families heading to Southport this summer can look forward to non-stop fun for just £5 as Adventure Coast gears up for its biggest season yet.
From 19 July right through to the end of August, Adventure Coast Southport will be packed with live shows, character meet-and-greets and entertainment that’ll keep kids of all ages smiling from start to finish — all without blowing the family budget.
There’s something on every day, and the line-up is packed with big names and familiar faces. You can say hello to Marvel-style heroes like The Incredible Green Hero and The God of Thunder, catch Captain Jack on his pirate adventures, or step into the quirky world of Steampunk with colourful characters like Augustus and the Contact Ball Juggler.
If you’ve got a little one who’s superhero-obsessed, don’t miss the chance to meet Spiderman and Miles Morales later in July — and keep an eye out for the Green Mean One causing mischief too.

When August arrives, the park goes all out with live shows every weekend. There’s something for everyone, from the Mary Poppins Show on 10 August to high-energy pop tributes celebrating Sabrina Carpenter and Dua Lipa on 16 August. Swifties can get ready for a singalong when the Taylor Swift Tribute Show hits the stage on 23 August, and it’s all rounded off with a magical Beauty and the Beast show on Bank Holiday Monday.
Each event day has four live performances plus roaming characters for meet-and-greets between 1.10pm and 5.15pm, so there’s plenty of time to grab selfies and soak up the fun.
Adventure Coast has been designed to give families a brilliant day out that’s as flexible and affordable as possible. Dogs are welcome, picnics are encouraged, and if you fancy adding more thrills, ride wristbands can be bought on the day.
With its open green spaces, themed areas and a proper old-school seaside carnival feel, it’s the perfect spot to chase pirates, dance with princesses or snap a selfie with your favourite superhero — all for the price of a fiver.
