Vienna confirmed as host city for Eurovision 2026
3 hours ago

Vienna has been chosen to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 after Austrian singer JJ took the crown in Basel this year with his track Wasted Love.
The 70th edition of Eurovision will take place on May 16 at the Wiener Stadthalle arena, a venue that last staged the contest back in 2015.
Vienna will also host the opening ceremony at City Hall on May 10, with EuroClub and Eurovision Village bringing live screenings, parties and pop-up events across the city in the lead-up to the grand final.

Organisers say the city’s central location, strong infrastructure and huge experience in staging global events made it the stand-out choice.
Mayor Michael Ludwig said he was proud Vienna had been selected, adding that making cultural events accessible to everyone is a key part of the city’s approach.
More details, including ticket sales, will be revealed later this year.
