Gorillaz are set to bring their brand-new live show to Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on Sunday 29th March 2026, as part of The Mountain Tour.
The highly anticipated run of arena dates will celebrate the release of the band’s ninth studio album The Mountain, landing on 20th March 2026 via their newly formed label KONG.
The Liverpool date promises an electrifying showcase of the new record – a kaleidoscopic 15-track journey featuring a stellar list of collaborators including Sparks, Trueno, Black Thought, Anoushka Shankar, IDLES, Yasiin Bey, Paul Simonon, Omar Souleyman and many more. Fans can also expect Gorillaz classics spanning their 25-year history, all brought to life with Jamie Hewlett’s iconic visuals.
Support on selected tour dates comes from Argentine rapper Trueno, whose explosive energy has become a highlight of Gorillaz’ live collaborations.

Drummer Russel Hobbs explains:
“As space dust we are here forever and that’s a mighty long time. This is a musical meditation infused with light. A journey of the soul, with beats…”
The Mountain is the band’s most ambitious project to date, recorded across London, Devon, India, Ashgabat, Damascus, Los Angeles, Miami and New York, and produced by Gorillaz alongside James Ford, Samuel Egglenton, Remi Kabaka Jr., and Bizarrap. With performances in Arabic, English, Hindi, Spanish and Yoruba, it’s a record that reflects the global reach and collaborative spirit that defines Gorillaz.
The album’s first track, “The Happy Dictator (feat. Sparks)”, is available now, accompanied by a visualiser directed by Hewlett.
The Mountain Tour opens in Manchester on 21st March 2026 and will travel through Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Cardiff, Nottingham, Liverpool, Belfast and Dublin, before culminating in Gorillaz’ first-ever headline stadium show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, on Saturday 20th June 2026.
