Advertorial

Afternoon tea at Stoke inside Radisson RED has the perfect blend – imaginative treats combining French flair with the best of British ingredients, all homemade by Stoke’s own team of chefs.
Everything is freshly created using the best quality produce, and delicious small batch teas are at the heart of Stoke’s traditional experience.
It’s served in one of the coolest venues in the city and, even better, for extra indulgence there’s the option to upgrade to bottomless with prosecco and selected cocktails and make it an extra special occasion.
Stoke’s afternoon tea has all the elements you’d expect – flavour-packed sandwiches, desserts and fresh-baked cakes and fruit or plain scones, of course – they’ve just been given an original twist by head chef Christina Konstantopoulou.
Alongside a pairing of three-layer sandwiches, filled with salmon and coronation chicken, and focaccia with roasted pepper hummus, there’s a typically Parisian savoury favourite: a croque monsieur croissant, with ham that’s honey-roasted in-house, cheese and bechamel sauce.
Chefs at Stoke also make their own desserts, with specialities including framboise cheesecake topped with fresh berries and forest fruits, crème brulee, and a chocolate salted caramel torte.
A selection of premium blend teas comes from family-owned independent New Forest Tea Company – run by a couple and their cockapoo! – which has a focus on sustainability, specialising in ethically sourced loose leaf tea & compostable teabags.
As well as classics like Breakfast, Earl Grey and Mint, it also produces a range of green and matcha teas and all-natural fruit infusions with ingredients such as apple, orange, apricot, peach and papaya pieces, blackberry leaves, sunflower petals hibiscus and rosehip.
Christina says tradition and uniqueness are key to what makes the afternoon tea at Radisson RED so amazing:
“Radisson RED is a large hotel group but I wanted us to create an afternoon tea that felt very personal as well as traditional, with nothing mass-produced. I want people to come and enjoy our afternoon teas knowing they won’t find anything like them anywhere else because everything has been homemade in house by our own chefs.”
