Lewis Capaldi to play at Liverpool’s Sefton Park this August

Global chart-topper Lewis Capaldi gets set to play a huge outdoor show in Liverpool this summer.

In the Park makes its highly anticipated return to Liverpool next summer, with global superstar Lewis Capaldi announced as headliner. The much-loved event will take over Sefton Park on Saturday 15th August, hosting Capaldi’s biggest-ever outdoor headline show in the city.

The announcement lands fresh off the back of his sold-out 17-date arena tour across the UK and Ireland, his first in two years, which has seen him thrilling fans with a hit-packed setlist and debuting new material that has earned four- and five-star reviews from critics across the board. It also follows his sixth Number 1 single, with Survive becoming the fastest-selling single of the year to date.

Set to deliver an unforgettable performance in front of thousands, Capaldi’s appearance will mark a major moment for In the Park 2026, further cementing its reputation as one of the UK’s premier live music events and bringing one of Scotland’s most beloved artists to the heart of Liverpool for a landmark summer celebration.

Tickets are expected to sell out. Presale tickets go live 9am (GMT) Thursday 20th November, with general sale following at 9am (GMT) Friday 21st November.
