Exclusive guided tours of the Cunard Building, one of Liverpool’s world-famous Three Graces, are now available to book for a limited time this winter.

The Grade II* listed building, steeped in maritime and architectural history, will open its doors for a rare series of heritage tours in late November and throughout December 2025.

Tickets are priced at £15 per person, with tours available on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Led by Liverpool’s heritage experts, these intimate tours (maximum 15 people per group) invite visitors to explore areas of the Cunard Building that are normally closed to the public, including:

  • The historic basement, once a bustling operations hub
  • The atmospheric former Arrivals Lounge
  • The elegant Board Rooms used during the golden age of transatlantic travel.

Visitors will discover stories of shipping legends, architectural detail, and the building’s role in Liverpool’s global maritime identity.

Tours are available at the following dates and times:

  • 30 November at 10am, 11.30am, 1pm and 3pm
  • 4 to 7 December, 11 to 14 December, and 18 to 21 December at 10am, 11.30am, 1pm and 3pm

“We are thrilled to invite the public inside one of Liverpool’s most historically significant buildings.

“The Cunard Building is an icon of our waterfront, and these tours offer a rare opportunity to explore its hidden spaces, learn about its remarkable story, and experience the legacy of the Cunard Line in a completely new way.

“We’re proud to open these doors and share this important heritage with the city.”
