The sun came out at Aintree today and with it hundreds of fabulously-dressed racegoers waiting to walk down the pink carpet and take part in this year’s Ladies Day Style Awards.
Mersey influencer Niall O’Callaghan hosted the awards, but it was judges Josie Peaches, the Guide’s Rachael Rhodes and acclaimed milliner Lisa Tan who had the most difficult task of the day – choosing the winners.
They spent more than four hours looking at photos and some of the most amazing outfits at the racecourse, before choosing the three winners of the awards: Best Dressed and – new for 2026 – Best Suited and Best Hat.
The Guide’s Rachael Rhodes said:
“The quality of entries this year was really high, so it was super hard to pick our winners.”
Hannah Smith was named as Best Dressed, while Euan Perryman took the new title of Best Suited and Sarah Williams won the award for Best Hat.

Hannah, 29, from Edinburgh, looked absolutely stunning in an elegant soft pink suit with flower-embellished fitted jacket and chiffon maxi skirt from Dutch fashion company Leyna Dresses, which she teamed with pale pink satin heels and an eye-catching floral headpiece by Australian milliner, Millinery by Mel. Her shoes and hat were from Asos.
She said:
“I was buzzing when I won. I love Aintree, everyone is so friendly and it’s just a good day out.”
Euan, 22, from Huyton, looked dapper in his Loro Piana navy double-breasted pinstriped suit with gold buttons that was custom-made from Italy! He completed the outfit with a striped shirt and navy and gold silk tie.

He revealed he was feeling certain about his chances and went to the Grand National Festival alone today to try his luck.
After winning he told Rachael:
“I’m feeling great. I came with full confidence and knew I was going to win … because I feel if you go in with full confidence, you are.”
Meanwhile Sarah Williams, 46, from St Helens stunned in her summery hat festooned with flowers and butterflies from Gillys Millinery, which beautifully topped off her pleated shimmery dress with gold belt.

“I’m feeling absolutely fabulous,” she revealed. “But the credit’s got to go to Gillys Millinery who created this fabulous piece for me.
“I fell in love with it. I love butterflies, I love pink and gold, and I just thought that it was fantastic.”
Rachael added:
“The Best Dressed outfit was a real standout and we loved the fact that it was an ensemble, all in pink, and the fascinator was something like I’ve never seen before.
“The Best Suit was tailored to Euan’s body which we thought was phenomenal, and the Best Hat shimmered in the sunshine with lots of lovely colours – and it was one we just couldn’t miss.”
As winners of this year’s awards Hannah, Euan and Sarah will leave Aintree with a fabulous prize package worth a total of £10,000.
As winner of the Best Dressed award, Hannah will be given the ultimate influencer-style escape with a luxury trip to Ibiza for two worth up to £4000. She’ll also win two Garden Club tickets to Ladies Day at The Randox Grand National 2027.
Euan’s impeccable tailoring has won him an exclusive £1,000 Debenhams voucher to spend onsite, hospitality for two at the 154th Open at Royal Birkdale, and two Garden Club tickets to Ladies Day at The Randox Grand National 2027.
Sarah walks away it with a relaxing British spa date for two up to the value of £2,000, plus two Garden Club tickets to Ladies Day at The Randox Grand National 2027 and hospitality for two at an Aintree Racecourse fixture of choice in 2026.
