Claremont Farm to host theatre show in support of local homelessness charity Shelter
1 hour ago
Families and theatre lovers are invited to enjoy a magical outdoor theatre performance of Carlo Collodi’s Pinocchio, in the picturesque setting of Claremont Farm in Bebington.
The show takes place on 31st May 2026 and will be used to help raise essential funds for the housing and homelessness charity Shelter.
Touring theatre company, Illyria, bring this classic tale to life in a fun-filled production packed with music, laughter and adventure.
Funds raised from this enchanting sunset performance will help Shelter’s frontline services to continue providing free, expert support and advice to thousands of people facing homelessness, as well helping the charity to campaign for an end to the housing emergency.
Shelter’s vital services are needed more than ever in the North West, where 11,900 children are homeless in temporary accommodation.

Pauline Cox, Regional Community Fundraiser for Shelter Merseyside, said:
“This special outdoor performance of Pinocchio promises to be a truly magical evening for people of all ages. This evening is an opportunity for families and the community to come together, enjoy a much-loved story in a beautiful setting, all whilst helping Shelter’s vital work to support people facing homelessness.
“Thousands of people in the North West are experiencing homelessness, many of whom are families with children. Shelter provides essential advice, support and advocacy for people in crisis, and campaigns for lasting change, so that everyone has a safe place to call home. We simply couldn’t continue this work without the incredible support of the public. Every ticket purchased helps us to be there for people when they need us most.
“We’re hugely grateful to everyone attending and to Claremont Farm for their continued support in hosting such a special event.”
Ticket holders must bring their own chair and dress for the weather as the show will continue in all but the very worst conditions. A cash bar is available on site at Claremont Farm.
Gates open at 6.30pm and the show starts promptly at 7pm with a running time of two hours 20 minutes, including an interval. Tickets are £19.50 adult, and £11 child and are available until 25th May.
