Liverpool fashion designer Kirsty Doyle returns to Metquarter for summer studio

This July, Metquarter will introduce a new creative outlet to the centre as it hosts The KD Club Summer studio.

Set to open its doors to the public on the ground floor of the centre from the end of June, pre-teens,  tweens, mums, daughters and sons can step into the creative studio and take part in a range of advanced sewing, fashion illustration and millinery classes hosted by renowned Liverpool fashion designer Kirsty Doyle. 

The KD Club Summer Studio is designed to be a fun and inspiring space where young creatives can explore their passion for fashion, develop new skills and bring their ideas to life in a relaxed, supportive environment.  

Throughout the summer Kirsty will offer her expertise through a series of beginners sewing and fashion design workshops, offering young people the chance to get creative and explore the world of fashion in the summer months.  

Starting Thursday’s from 2^nd July until Thursday 16^th July, The KD Club in Metquarter will launch a series of workshops where creatives can discover the basics of sewing and fashion construction, they’ll learn essential sewing skills and create a project that they can take home.  

Suitable for creatives aged between 8-16 years-old, the workshop is a safe and accessible space which  allows young people to creatively thrive in a supportive environment.  

Tickets for the workshop can be booked here and are priced at £25 pp. 

For those eager to explore their inner fashion designer, this workshop offers a fun and inspiring space  where young creatives become a fashion designer for the day. Learning how they develop ideas, create  mood boards and sketch garments to bring their designs to life.  

The workshop is suitable for pre-teens (aged 8-12 years-old) and teens (aged 12-16 years-old). All  materials are provided on the day.
