Advertorial

We all love a trip to the theatre and the Floral Pavilion’s got everything coming soon from classic comedy to kids’ shows and edge-of-your-seat drama.

You can combine a show with a fabulous meal at the New Brighton theatre’s stunning Panoramic Lounge, a pre-performance drink in the Plaza Bar, or a stroll along the promenade to embrace the fresh air.

Either way, you’re in for a treat with these 9 shows to look forward to and available to book now …

One of the greatest theatre dramas is back from Monday, October 19 to Saturday, June 24. It’s the 75th anniversary of the all-time classic by Agatha Christie when, following a murder in London, seven strangers seek refuge in a remote country guesthouse.  But could danger be closer than they think – and can you crack the clues of the mystery that’s kept people guessing for decades?

The Last Laugh

It’s had nothing but rave reviews so this one is definitely not to be missed. The Last Laugh is a ‘brilliant’ West End play which imagines three of Britain’s comedy heroes Tommy Cooper, Eric Morecambe and Bob Monkhouse in a dressing room discussing the secret of life, death, comedy and what it means to be really funny. It’s warm, nostalgic and poignant, and guaranteed to make you laugh – and cry. It’s on from Tuesday, October 6 to Saturday, October 10.

Paradise Heights

Paradise Heights is a series of standalone stories so you can go to just one – or get offers on multiple bookings. The thrilling tales include Rank, Diane’s Deli and I’m Frank Morgan, but they start with Strawberry Jack on Sunday, June 28, in which a scarred ex-enforcer strives to redeem himself, but will he get the chance – because someone wants him dead?

John Cleese & The Holy Grail

You can join the Floral for an unmissable evening of laughter and legend when Monty Python great John Cleese arrives for a special screening of the cult classic, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, followed by an audience Q&A with the man himself. John Cleese will share behind-the-scenes stories, wit, and wisdom – ‘assuming he remembers any of It’! On Monday, September 7.

Russell Watson

The musical maestro will share spine-tingling renditions of some of the most powerful classics, while talking about the highs and lows of his extraordinary life from chart-topping success to surviving not one, but two life-threatening illnesses. It’s said to be Russell’s most intimate show to date and this rare opportunity – there are also meet and greet opportunities – to meet the man behind the music is on Friday, October 16.

It’s Not a Game – Starring award-winning Illusionists Jay & Joss

One for all the family, Jay & Joss are the award-winning illusionists who stunned the judges on Britain’s Got Talent and they’re on tour with a mind-bending show where nothing is quite as it seems. You’re promised jaw dropping stunts, breath-taking visuals and moments that simply defy belief and reality. It’s on Saturday, August 8.

K-Pop Fantasy

Young fans will love the high-energy theatrical celebration of the global phenomenon that is K-pop with fab live vocals and incredible choreography. It’s inspired by the biggest K-pop moments from music, TV, and film, and promises a vibrant, feel-good production that celebrates the fantasy, energy, and global impact of K-pop and will send you out of the Floral Pavilion smiling on Monday, October 26.

In The Night Garden Live!

Floral Pavilion

There’s not one but two chances for little people to wander into the Night Garden when it invites visitors on Saturday and Sunday, August 15-16. Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka and friends are back with a fun-filled live show, Igglepiggle’s Busy Day, where Igglepiggle goes on the hunt for his friends – and follows their funny sounds until he finds them.

Teens who like to be terrified will love this horror story from Thunder Road Theatre. It’s a chilling sci-fi drama in which haunted space ranger Flint is drawn towards the Odyssey, an ageing research vessel in the grip of a nightmare and, on boarding, discovers a failing ship, a missing crew, and a deadly force that’s running out of control. One for 13-and-overs, it’s at the Floral on Friday and Saturday, November 6-7.
