LIMF 2019: This is what the Sefton Park crowds are loving most about LIMF
5 years ago
Sunday’s live music offering at LIMF has been off the scale, local talent, international legends and there’s still more to come.
The music, the weather, the family fun and all the festival vibes have come together at LIMF for another amazing day at Sefton Park. So far today we’ve enjoyed live performances from local acts such as Sub Blue X Deliah and Gazelle, a local lad, Pizzagirl won the Jan McNicholl LIMF Academy Award for showing amazing potential in the music industry and we’ve had scouse boxing legend, Tony Bellew and his son Carter, join our Jay on Central stage.
If all that wasn’t enough, NAO, SG Lewis, Grace Carter and more kick started our day before hip hop royalty, the one and only De La Soul had all hands in the air on Central Stage. Amazing scenes and sounds at Sefton Park. Now we’re on countdown for Disco Classical with special guest Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge!
Watch above as we find out what the crowds are loving most about day two of LIMF 2019.Â
Following a knock out day of music in the park, where Nile Rodgers and Chic, Ella Eyre, YXNG Bane and 3Beat @30 rocked the Central Stage, todays line up continues with a âsomething for everyoneâ vibe. Hip Hop legends De La Soul and Disco Classical plus DJ2Kind, The LIMF Academy artists and Manny Norte at the Shubz DJ Tent.
Watch all our highlights from yesterday as Nile Rodgers and Chic headlined a phenomenal day in the park. Alongside dancers, all the backstage staff and even our Jay, Nile and the Chic girls performed a knock out set of all the old favourites. Good times all round!
