Piano Wars is officially a thing – and it’s coming to Camp & Furnace this February!
There’s a groundbreaking weekly event coming to Camp and Furnace and believe us, you’ve never seen (or heard) anything like it!
Following hot on the heels of massively successful events produced in-house at the Greenland Street venue including Nightgarden and December’s seasonal SnoGarden which came complete with indoor snow storms – the team have surpassed themselves by launching a brand new event for 2018 – with a totally unique format.
Running every Friday from 7pm until late, Friday Night Furnace which launches on February 9th has live music and performance at its heart, giving event-goers a BIG night out, kicking off the weekend in style.
Weekly residents, The Furnace House Band will act as musical hosts to the event, playing a mix of modern tracks, and giving them their own unique twist.
Interacting with the audience, some lucky event-goers will also get the chance to suggest their own songs for the band to play.
Those that make the cut will be performed on stage, warming up for the main act of the night, Piano Wars, where two baby grand pianos go head-to-head, live!

A concept that’s come direct from the States, the specially customised pianos, complete with neon lights and lasers, will be played by super-talented pianists within an inch of their lives.
Taking requests from the floor, the pianos will duel musically for the audience, each trying to out-play the other, with the atmosphere and excitement building into a breathtaking crescendo and dazzling finale!
Speaking about the event, a Camp and Furnace spokesperson said:
“Duelling pianos is totally where it’s at for 2018! We’ve spent the Summer visiting a number of cities and when we were in the US, this concept blew us away, and immediately knew it would translate perfectly to Liverpool and to Camp and Furnace.
We were totally wowed by the expertise of the playing and the spectacle of it all – we know our customers are going to love Friday Night Furnace”
