Threshold Festival is back for 2016
It is the first big music festival in Liverpool of the year and always the perfect way to kick off the festival season. Now in it’s 6th year Threshold Festival celebrates all that is great about grassroots music, art & culture.
It takes over the Baltic Triangle from 1st-3rd April bringing with it a huge lineup of incredible local and new music. Already confirmed are the likes of local singer, songwriter Natalie McCool, ‘megafolk’ Birmingham band The Destroyers and local funk collective, Galactic Funk Malitia.
This week another 12 artists were revealed for the lineup Barberos, Johnny Sands, Killaflaw, Lying Bastards, Faitala, Bathymetry, Spink, Jeremiah Ferrari, The BlowBack Horns, Indigo Moon, Deliah and Mari Hajem will all be involved playing in different venues including Unit 51, The Baltic Social, District and more.
Threshold really is the ultimate intimate urban music festival, we didn’t think last year could be topped but it’s looking like 2016’s edition could do just that.
In our video with Festival organiser Kaya Carney Ellie gets all the goss and gets all the news on what promises to be Thresold’s biggest year yet.
