Chef Paul Askew tells us about the campaign for a Minister of Hospitality to represent the industry in parliament

Founder of Liverpool’s Art School Restaurant Paul Askew is urging everyone to sign a petition which could further help the hospitality industry in the UK by forcing the government to have a permanent representative within parliament for the sector.

The Seat At The Table campaign has launched a petition calling for a Minister for Hospitality. It needed 100,000 signatures to be debated in parliament and that target was reached in December, but Paul Askew says people can still sign to support.

You can get more info about the campaign and add your signature here.

Paul also gives us an insight into how the industry is coping with lockdown number three and gives advice on what we can do to support.

The Art School Emporium and online store has reopened from which you can buy a range of products from the restaurant including at home Experience boxes and more.

Visit the Art School Restaurant website to order online and keep up to date with the venue.
