A local mother and daughter have launched a new ‘one stop shop’ events business

Mother and daughter entrepreneurs Angela and Harriet Maguire hosted a glamorous party last week at The Clubhouse on Wolstenholme Square to celebrate the launch of their dream venture The Event Agency.    

The Event Agency is a planning, co-ordinating and styling company which is a labour of love for the dynamic duo whose party planning skills have grown so much over previous years that the launch of their own company is the next step forward.

The launch party was attended by over 150 invited guests who enjoyed free-flowing drinks and canapés, whilst they marvelled at the stunning venue which was beautifully dressed for the occasion by The Event Agency team.  Entertainment was provided by DJ Dave Seed, with a wonderful set on sax and bongos from Johnny Crane and Beats By Tom (BBT) from Apres Music. Show-stopping human roses and show girls joined in the fun to ensure that the party went with a swing.

Angela and Harriet, both from Woolton, have themed and decorated events for many years for friends and family and are now receiving so many requests from all over the northwest that The Event Agency is a natural progression to provide a one stop shop for those organising and event or party.

Having made a considerable financial investment sourcing worldwide a range of original stock and props for event styling, including a host of table centrepieces, lighting, backdrops and signage, personalised props, floral and decorative accessories the event styling team are confident that their creative expertise and onsite stock availability will allow them to be stylish, on trend and competitively priced to meet the demands of a growing market.

The Event Agency will cater for events and celebrations of all themes, sizes and budgets including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, gender reveals, fundraising events and launches as well as private dining tablescapes and personal set ups for wedding proposals and special occasions.
