The new immersive scare experience has been curated by students from the City of Liverpool College (Arts Centre).
Take a trip around the catacombs of St George’s Hall this Halloween with the brand new scare experience The Trial of Georgina Hallows.
Take a look below as we chat to the director, Paul Carmichael, who is also the programme lead for BA Acting at the college:
The Trial of Georgina Hallows invites you to step into a world where echoes of long-forgotten trials and torments still resonate. This immersive experience will take you through the very rooms where men and women once faced their darkest hours, leaving behind an indelible mark on the historic grounds.
Georgina found herself in the Crown Court of the building she knew so well. Judge justice James Fitzjames Stephens was preceding. A cruel man, always willing to seek the harshest penalties. Georgina Hallows, tried as a Witch, was executed.
But was she guilty?
Follow ghost hunter Yvonne to discover the truth. Descend deeper into the dreaded basement, where the condemned await their fates, their cries still echoing in the cold, cramped cells.
Beware, for you’ll confront the darkness head-on, encountering forbidden realms of witchcraft, Ouija boards and ancient curses. The spirits of the past beckon you, drawing you into their tragic tales.Â
Experience Highlights:
• Uncover the stories of prisoners who stood trial within St George’s Hall.
• Experience relentless jump scares that will test even the bravest souls.
• Brave the depths of the basement, where the condemned once awaited their terrible fate.
