A visit to our museums is the perfect Christmas Holidays boredom buster

National Museums Liverpool is the perfect place for the kids during Christmas holidays. You can explore its 8 Merseyside venues this Winter with a fantastic programme of events and exhibitions.

If you’re looking for a fun, educational day out this Winter, National Museums Liverpool venues are packed with exciting exhibitions and hands on activities for visitors of all ages.

With 8 venues across the region, including; World Museum, Walker Art Gallery, Museum of Liverpool, International Slavery Museum, Merseyside Maritime Museum, Lady Lever Art Gallery and Sudley House, you don’t have to travel far to discover something brand new about our amazing city.

There’s a whole host of new exhibitions to see this winter too with the likes of Little Liverpool at the Museum of Liverpool where kids can get hands on in an interactive learning and play experience. Of course you can meet Liverpool’s famous Blackler’s Santa, which is over 5 metres high, learn about Titanic’s Fashions and Fortunes whilst also sniffing out fake goods at Seized, both at Mersey Maritime Museum. You can also take a trip back to Ancient Egypt at World Museum and also explore Sudley House in Mossley Hill.

All Museums reopen after Christmas on 27th December, and you can plan your day out with the kids here.
