The UK’s biggest celebration of African music and culture is well under way in Sefton Park as Africa Oye returns for the 22nd consecutive year.

Local neo-soul artist Xam Volo was selected this year as part of the Oye Introducing programme, and he didn’t disappoint. Watch his chat with Ben here and see him take to the Africa Oye main stage in sunny Sefton Park.
