This weekend’s first every food festival at The Royal Albert Dock Liverpool invites you to slurp, taste and drink your way across the waterfront. Get ready for a Feast.
The Albert Dock’s first ever food festival, FEAST, takes place this Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September and we couldn’t be any hungrier. This two day festival of all things delicious will showcase the diverse food and drink offering from around the dock. There will be more than 40 food, drink and lifestyle stalls to browse.
Hosted by singer and broadcaster Andi Oliver, the food festival will bring you speciality dishes and bespoke drinks, local produce and more. There’ll be be a fascinating programme of chef demos and masterclasses too, giving you all the hints and tips you need to make your favourite Albert Dock dishes at home.
Bring the whole family along to discover new cuisines, pick up some top tips from the pros and browse a whole host of restaurant, bar and lifestyle stalls. The kids can also get a taste of the action with their very own cookery classes, street theatre, story time sessions and lots more.
As the event draws closer, we’ll be bringing you an exclusive insight into the kitchens of some of the Albert Dock’s most coveted restaurants. From sourcing ingredients to devising menus and plating up for service, see and hear from you favourite Albert Dock restaurant teams right here, on The Guide Liverpool.
A MASTERCLASS WITH…..
PEABERRY COFFEE HOUSE & KITCHEN
Independent artisan coffee house & kitchen, Peaberry, specialises in wholesome freshly prepared food to satisfy all appetites. Whether you’re carnivore, pescatarian, vegetarian or vegan, Peaberry have got you covered with their lovingly crafted menu. Coffee is, of course, a speciality, with the Single Plantation ‘Peaberry’ coffee seed used bringing a toffee like sweetness and lemon tart acidity to your cup of Joe.
Breakfast, brunch, lunch & dinner are all served up at Peaberry and we could quite easily stay their all day. If we did, our menu choices would go something like Eggs Benedict for breakfast, Dry Roasted Curried Pork Samosas for brunch, followed by a Halloumi & Avocado Ciabatta for lunch. Dinner is a straight toss-up between the Cornflake and Chorizo Burger or the Pan-fried Sea Bass. Hmm, maybe we’ll have both! Now, for dessert…
