ALDER HEY: We get some amazing fundraising ideas from one of the team at AHCC

Our charity takeover week continues today with one of the areas best loved health care charities. We have all had some link with Alder Hey Childrens Hospital at some point in our lives, whether it be ourselves when we were younger, visiting a loved one or taking one of our own for treatment or care.

Every year 270,000 children, young people and their families are looked after at eon of the worlds leading health facilities, and in October of last year a new era commenced for the hospital as it moved to new home Alder Hey in the Park.

All day today we will be meeting staff, and others linked with this amazing place in the hope we can raise some awareness and some much needed funds for their research facility. More on that shortly but for now watch our chat with Cath Harding, Head of Community Fundraising.
