ALDER HEY: We meet patient Saoirse & her Mum Louise who directly benefit from your help

As part of our Charity Takeover Week we are getting an insight into the amazing work that takes place at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Already we have found about how you can get involved and fund raise yourself, and we have been inside the incredible Innovation Hub where research takes place everyday to try and further our medical knowledge for generations to come.

One patient at Alder Hey is 3 year old Saoirse who has a very rare blood condition which affects her immune system. At the moment the condition is life long, however with the advances happening every day at Alder Hey’s research facility who knows what could happen. That is why it is so important we try to raise the vital cash needed to fund it.
