Valentine’s Day in Liverpool is going to be amazing. The day of all things heart-shaped falls on a Thursday night so why not kick start a weekend with the one, or ones you love with an alternative celebration. While there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the traditional romantic meal for two, champagne and footsy under the table, we have to acknowledge that us single pringles want in on the party too.

1 – ASBO Cinema, Grease

3 – Dirty Dancing 30th Anniversary

4 – Valentine’s Punk Tea

Now when we said ‘alternative’ valentine’s day events, Make, North Docks has knocked the nail on the head. Find true love using your dance moves with a 70’s-til now banging soundtrack and a full on disco! More info here.
6 – Galentine’s Day Disco
Camp & Furnace is offering up a double whammy on Valentine’s Day in Liverpool. There’s a Galentine’s Disco especially for the ladies, stuffed with girl power, anthems and a shit load of sweet female attitude! Tickets here.
7 – Till Death Do Us Part
The Everyman Theatre loves a bit of quirkiness and this Valentine’s Day you can spend the evening at a wedding, trying to work out why someone ended up dead in a Murder Mystery. Just make sure it’s not you! Tickets and info here.
