All you need is love: The Liverpool Wedding Show returns this February

All you need is love – and The Liverpool Wedding Show, the region’s biggest and best wedding event!

The Liverpool Wedding Show is returning to the city’s Exhibition Centre this February to help you plan the perfect day.

And with more than 70 specialists on hand to offer advice and inspiration, as well as exclusive catwalk shows and more, you can be sure that you and your wedding crew will want to say ‘I do’ to this too!

The Liverpool Wedding Show is being held on Saturday and Sunday, February 8-9, close to Valentine’s Day: “So love will definitely be in the air,” says Lindsey Devlin, who co-founded and organises the event with Vikki Sweeney.

“We can guarantee lots of ideas and inspiration for brides and grooms, whether you’ve just got engaged, there are only a few things left to organise for your Big Day … or you’re still looking.

“Importantly, while some people choose to arrange things online, we give you the chance to meet amazing suppliers and see and feel the quality of the goods they are offering, along with the photographers and music providers who will be such a big part of your day.”

Vikki says: “You can chat to them face-to-face and discuss exactly what you want so you can be sure they’re right for you.”

And Vikki adds: “This is our biggest show yet, better than anything we could have imagined so we know it’s going to be pretty special. We are really excited to have teamed up with media partners La Vida Liverpool, and we have something for everyone and every budget, from that big grand wedding to everything in between.”

Lindsey and Vikki have got years of experience supporting couples to create their dream day, and this is their third event at Liverpool Exhibition Centre.

On both days, you can check out everything from wish-list venues to flowers and stationery, cars, cakes, dresses, food, accessories and more.

As well as wedding specialists there’ll be make-up, fashion, hair and wellbeing professionals to give advice; information on organising the stag and hen dos and even that honeymoon break – and not forgetting, as well as ticking off everything on the wedding to-do list, guests can sit down and enjoy live entertainment and superb catwalk shows.

There are three shows every day with gorgeous gowns from Fairytale Endings in the city’s Metquarter, and stylish suits from Groom Hire in Liverpool.

And this is where you can start to enjoy a little luxury!

“You don’t need to leave it to the Big Day to enjoy a bit of pampering,” smiles Lindsey. “With our VIP experience you can receive fast-track entry and access to the VIP Elite Marquee half an hour before your chosen show, where you can pick up a goodie bag and enjoy live music and a complimentary glass of fizz before being shown to your reserved front-row seat.

“You can make a day of it too, with so much to see and do inside the Exhibition Centre and bars and restaurants close by at the Albert Dock to help you look forward to, and celebrate, your Big Day with your wedding crew.”

Show opening times are: Saturday, 10am – 4pm, and Sunday, 10am – 4pm, with tickets starting from £8 standard entry, and £20 VIP admission (plus booking fees).
