Alma De Cuba is introducing a lunchtime menu packed with Cuban BBQ classics and moreish small plates that are complete with the new ADC heat Scoville scale.
The iconic restaurant-bar has previously had just an A La Carte evening menu, but has now launched a delicious lunchtime offering so guests can enjoy a light bite or indulgent daytime treat.
And even better, Alma De Cuba is offering guests a whopping 50% off the food menu all day and evening, Monday-Thursday until the end of July.
Small plates, that can also be ordered for two people to share range from £6-£7.50 for one or £12-£14.50 for two, and include Sticky honey spiced chicken wings with sour cream and yam fries, Sweet potato and chorizo croquettes with coconut scented rice and onion, Pulled pork sliders, house slaw and yam fries and the No beef, no pork, no chicken dish that is made up of smashed avocado with citrus salsa, red onion salsa and Cuban bread.
If diners fancy tucking into something a little more filling, they can opt for one of the BBQ and buckets feasts.
Delicious BBQ plates start at £12 per person and include the Cuban ham, Cuban eggs with chorizo and yam fries and the Soon to be famous indoor (or outdoor) barbecue which is made up of chargrilled pork escalope, sticky glazed beef brisket, roasted chorizo sausage, smoked paprika corn on the cob and griddled beef tomato with fries on the side.
When it comes to the scrumptious buckets guests will be able to tailor the spice level to exactly how they like.
Prefer it mild? Opt for the “Alma” which is spicy, you know the heat is in the sauce. Fancy it a little hotter? Try the “De” – warming with a good kick. But if you want it to turn up the heat, try “Cuba” which kicks, with an afterburn.
From £15 per person, guests can tuck into the likes of the Scoville scale beer bucket with chicken, beef and pork which includes deep fried boneless chicken, pork, beef and jalapenos, tossed in your choice of hot Cuban sauce with chopped tomato, cucumber, avocado and sour cream, or the Scoville scale chicken beer bucket of jerk rubbed drumsticks and thighs, with honey spiced wings tossed in your choice of hot Cuban sauce with chopped tomato, cucumber, avocado and sour cream.
Yam or skinny fries can be added to your beer bucket for £5, and two bottles of beer each can be added to your bucket or BBQ dishes for £5 per person.
