Amelia Lily, 911 and more to support James Bulger Charity Ball

The James Bulger Memorial Trust Black Tie & Tiara Ball returns to Crowne Plaza Liverpool on Saturday 17th March, and the acts performing on the night have been confirmed.
The trust was set up in James’s name and aims to help those who have been victims of crime, bereavement or bullying by offering cost free travel, holiday accommodation and support.
This years ball is the charities 5th and marks what would have been James’s 28th birthday. It also coincides with the release of his mum Denise’s book ‘I Let Him Go’ which tells the heartbreaking story of a mother who said goodbye to a son, far too soon.
Already the book has been praised for giving strength to thousands across the globe, we went to the book’s launch and spoke with Denise about the release (watch below)
This Thursday on ITV at 9pm you can see a full 60 minute documentary as Denise joins one of the UK’s most respected journalists and presenters for James Bulger: A Mother’s Story with Trevor McDonald.
Tickets for the Black Tie & Tiara Ball are on sale now, and already famous faces and musicians are offering their support in appearing or performing on the night. Ticket price includes a three course meal, drinks reception and entertainment, all served up Dockside at Crown Plaza Liverpool’ stunning event space.
The night will once again be hosted by our very, Jay Hynd who has presented things on the night since the ball began back in 2013. This year he is joined by Radio City presenter, Claire Simmo and Reece Ryan.
90’s boyband 911, who sold over 10 million singles and 6 million albums world wide will be live on stage performing their classic hits which include ‘Bodyshakin’ ‘Private Number’ and their number one single ‘A Little Bit More’.
Amelia Lily who was runner up on both X Factor and last years Celebrity Big Brother will also be appearing live, as will The Voice contestant Lydia Lucy.
Liverpool’s favourite showman, Gary Barker who appeared on last years X Factor will again be wowing the audience with his classic covers and his latest single ‘Dreams Come True’ which reached number one in the UK Country Charts last month.
Support in previous years has come form the likes of boyband Five, Corrie & Hearsay star, Kym Marsh and Liverpool band, MIC Lowry with famous faces from shows like Emmerdale, Eastenders & Coronation Street all in attendance.
