Anticipation builds for UK Premiere of Beyond Van Gogh in Liverpool

The event promises to bring Vincent van Gogh’s masterpieces to life in a spectacular and colorful style, captivating audiences with its innovative blend of art and technology.

In just four weeks, the UK premiere of the extraordinary multimedia experience, Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, will open its doors at Exhibition Centre Liverpool on Thursday, 27 June.

Produced by Annerin Productions and Paquin Entertainment Group, Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience features more than 300 of the post-Impressionist icon’s paintings.

Cutting-edge technology and a specially curated musical soundtrack combine to tell the story of one of history’s most influential artists.

Having already mesmerised over five million people across the United States, Canada, and South America, this immersive experience is now making its way to the UK for a limited run in major venues.

Following its launch in Liverpool from 27 June to 24 July, the exhibition will travel to Glasgow’s Scottish Event Campus on 11 July and to the Birmingham NEC on 1 August.

Covering an epic 40,000 square feet, the production is packed with colour and detail, designed to excite visitors of all ages.

Van Gogh’s paintings are liberated from their traditional frames, transformed into three-dimensional scenes that swirl and flow with vibrant color and movement.

Iconic works such as The Starry Night, Sunflowers, and Terrace of a Café at Night come alive around you, and visitors will even encounter Van Gogh’s self-portraits, which might just blink back at you.

The journey begins in the Introduction Hall, where visitors connect with Vincent van Gogh through personal letters he wrote to his brother Theo, his greatest supporter.

From there, they move into the heart of the exhibition – the Immersive Room – where Van Gogh’s paintings dominate the space, allowing the audience to be enveloped in the incredible detail of his work. Visitors will be surrounded by colorful flowers, cafés, and stunning landscapes that shift and swirl across projection-swathed walls and floors.

This immersive experience offers an excellent introduction to Van Gogh’s world, making his art accessible to both seasoned fans and newcomers.

Special Saturday morning yoga sessions will be held inside the exhibition, providing a unique way to experience Van Gogh’s work. Additionally, VIP Experience tickets include selected Beyond Van Gogh merchandise, flexible arrival times, and fast-track entry.
