The new timetables will see increased Monday to Friday frequencies and additional morning journeys introduced to many services in Merseyside, to help local communities’ access retail and businesses reopening.
Full details of all the changes can be found at www.arrivabus.co.uk/merseyapr21 with all timetables available to view and download at www.arrivabus.co.uk/coronavirus-timetable-information or using the Arriva UK Bus App which is free to download from the app store.
Also, following the re-opening of the Silver Jubilee Bridge, Arriva services will be re-routed off the Mersey Gateway Bridge from Sunday 11 April 2021.
Services 61, 62, 79C, 82A, 110 and 200 will all be revised to operate via the Silver Jubilee Bridge, which will also involve some minor changes to times. Services 61 and 79C will also be revised to serve Runcorn East Train Station. Some minor changes to times will also be made to service X30. Further details can be found at www.arrivabus.co.uk/sjbridge
In line with government guidance, Arriva is still operating social distancing measures on all buses. Seats within two metres of the driver are still taped off, however wheelchair spaces will always remain available. A no standing policy is still in place on all non-school journeys. Customers are still required to wear a face-covering on board and throughout their journey, exemptions apply. When on board capacities are met, buses will show a “bus full” sign and drivers will only stop to let passengers off.
