Two of the UK’s most successful pop acts from back in the day are heading out on tour and playing Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on 17 September 2022.
Liverpool’s Atomic Kitten will reunite and join boy band Blue to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
The bands will play 14 arena shows around the UK including Liverpool in September.
For the first time in over a decade, Atomic Kitten’s Jenny Frost, Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton will perform together all of their biggest hits including: Whole Again, The Tide Is High, Eternal Flame and more!
Earlier this year the girls reunited to re-release a special version of Whole Again in support of England FC and their World Cup campaign.
The announcement for the Heart & Soul Tour comes 20 years to the week that Blue released their smash hit #1 debut album, All Rise. The album which was released 20 years ago this week, went on to sell over 1.4 million copies in the UK alone and was certified 4x Platinum.
The tour sees all four original members – Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe – reunite for a fun-filled epic show. The concert will feature all the band’s hits from their 5 albums as well as some incredible surprises.
Atomic Kitten are one of Liverpool’s most successful bands notching up three Nº1 singles with Whole Again and Eternal Flame in 2001 and a cover of Blondie’s Tide Is High 2002 with a total of 13 Top Ten hits which kept those kittens firmly in the spotlight with success all over the globe. Whole Again became one of the biggest pop singles in UK charts history and the Scouse superstars sold over 10 million records world wide.
