Monday 28th November
Having a nose around the shops after work, looking for a post Black Friday deal? Some stores around the city have extended their discounts and with late night shopping in full force you can beat the weekend rush and shop until 9pm at Liverpool One Weekdays. Check out Bar Hutte under the huge Christmas tree (open until 11pm) and the Chavasse Park fairground until 8pm too. More details here. Get your week off to a winning start at Camp and Furnace as New-Wave bring a Netflix cult-hit Arrested Development themed quiz to the warehouse. Why not treat the kids (or yourself) to a little treat after school and head down to the Ice Festival Liverpool, Pier Head for a spot of rosy-cheek ice-skating and a burger or crepe to warm through. Tuesday 29th November
Award-winning vocalist Katie Melua bring a very special Winter performance to the Philharmonic Hall this week featuring the Gori Women’s Choir, who if you’ve not heard before, will knock your socks off. Like live music and fancy something different? Get your tickets here.

The Albert Dock plays host to an amazing winter light show from this Saturday, and you’re invited! Check out ‘Countdown to Christmas’ a 4d light spectacular that runs until Jan 3rd and transforms the historical dock into a canvas for a magical tale. Weekend nights out are all about the new kids on the block this weekend. With Sugar Hut Liverpool and Neighbourhood now in full swing, the commercial quarter is where its at, followed by a little wander across to Liverpool One and The Club House Marvellous Marquee for some seriously festive cocktails and a hog roast to line your stomach! Sunday 4th December
The city’s annual Santa Dash 5k takes place this Sunday as approx. 8 thousand people take to the streets of the city to raise funds for three local charities including Radio City Cash for Kids, Everton in the Community and Zoe’s Place. You can join our Kate by registering in person with organisers, BTR, more details here. Road closures will be in places early Sunday so click here to check your route before heading into the city.
What better way to end your week than with Rock’n’roll Panto, Beauty and the Beast at the Everyman Theatre on Hope Street?
