Beatles-themed Revolver on Mathew Street has everything you need for a great night out

Right in the centre of the Cavern Quarter, Beatles-themed bar Revolver’s got all the things you’d look for on a night out with mates around Mathew Street – and it’s also got a few surprises.

Because as well as the guaranteed full-on party atmosphere that it’s known for, three levels means there’s plenty of room for something a bit different too.

It might have a familiar-sounding Fab Four album name, and a pretty famous location, but Revolver’s a long way from being a Beatles-only place to go.

Downstairs, especially at weekends, it’s a 100% party vibe with everything from classic rock anthems right through to current commercial chart hits.

But the upper floor has been remodelled to create a private club room, available as a bookable space but open to the public at weekends, and that’s got a completely different music feel so you’ll find more old school RnB.

Not just that, but Revolver is also the place for live music and live sport, and it’s given its midweek line-up a fresh look with dedicated weekly student and jazz nights.

It’s now the home to Cavern Quarter Jazz every Monday night, so jazz lovers can make a regular start-of-the-week date to see bands like Liverpool favourites The Green Tangerines and enjoy great pizza and cocktails while they’re at it.

Weekend daytimes on Temple Court belong to the Bottomless Brunch, so from Friday to Sunday 11am to 5pm you can get 90 beautiful minutes of non-stop pizza and unlimited selected drinks all for £25 per person.

And then on Sundays, it’s time to grab the mic and give it your best shot with Karaoke Sundays, between 5pm and 10pm, and loads of drinks offers.

So it’s Mathew Street, and it’s always fun, but maybe just not quite how you expected…
