Bierkeller Liverpool is doing Christmas with a Bavarian twist

Christmas partygoers wanting to do things a bit differently can ditch the traditional turkey and pud and go for a hog roast with added oompah instead!

Liverpool’s Bierkeller is giving Christmas a Bavarian twist, creating the ultimate fun celebration combination of food, drink and the liveliest night of singing and dancing anywhere in the city.

Forget a boring sit-down three courses – Bierkeller in Liverpool ONE will serve up a traditional German food delicacy, hog roast, steins of premium haus beer then have everyone on their feet for the world-famous oompah show.

The festive packages include a spit-roast free range hog feast with crackling, sage and onion stuffing, sauerkraut salad and apple sauce with plenty of bread rolls, drinks served by waitresses in traditional Bavarian costume, and a full night of roof-raising entertainment featuring an amazing live show from the Bavarian Stompers band.

The Bierkeller Platinum Package is £30pp and, alongside the food, drink and oompah, there’ll be party music, shot girls, and a sing-a-long along with a resident DJ and Burgermeister.

Sean Maguire, general manager of The Bierkeller, says the 2017 festive season promises to be a lively one.

He added: “Our Christmas packages run until December 23 and we have the oompah band on every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The atmosphere is unbelievable, our nights really are a unique experience, not like any other Christmas parties people will have ever been to before.

“We’ve already sold out quite a few of the prime dates in the run-up to Christmas so we recommend anyone wanting to make sure they get their favourite booked now because we’re filling up fast.”

The Bierkeller Entertainment Complex also has alternative Christmas options at its other two venues – sports bar Shooters and Around The World bar. Shooters offers three festive food packages and a help yourself hotdog cart for parties (min 25) while Around The World has three Christmas party menus, a Christmas Cracker lunch menu and drinks packages including one for its signature jam jar cocktails.
