With autumn well underway, it’s time to start thinking about the next fun item in the social diary – the C-word – Christmas parties.

It’s also the first time in three years that many colleagues and friends have been able to gather together to celebrate the festive season.

Exhibition Centre Liverpool is bringing the party to the waterfront with its Christmas Festival nights from December 2 – 18.

But don’t expect the traditional formal corporates dos of the past – these parties are ripping up the festive rulebook and replacing them with more relaxed and informal parties.  So, forget the dry traditional sit-down meal as guests tuck into delicious gourmet street food, including festive chicken burgers, Christmas turkey yorkypud wraps, hog roasts and sweet treats.

Then dance the night away with incredible entertainment provided by a live band and festive music sets featuring In Demand Radio DJs including Lee Butler and Steve Cocky; funfair rides; stilt walking; fire eating and dancers – all hosted by DJ Steve Weaver. It’s a Christmas party without the boring bits.
