It was one of the best loved events of last year in Liverpool, so of course it’s coming back for round two, even bigger and better.
Bordeaux Wine Festival returns as an award winning event, with award winning wines for its 2nd year on 31 May – 2 June 2019.
Pairing Liverpool’s finest UNESCO World Heritage Waterfront with Bordeaux’s finest export, the wine festival is anticipated to be even better than its inaugural celebration.

With a promise of more wine, and the finest gastronomic pairing from our city’s best food experts, you’re invited to on a journey of indulgence. From crisp Rosés through round Reds, to sparkling Crémant, you have the best of Bordeaux in a glass.
Bordeaux Wine Festival stars alongside Liverpool’s River Festival, a free maritime celebration packed with family entertainment of arts and culture. So sit back, learn about the world’s best wine and enjoy some live music, against the backdrop of one the most beautiful iconic skylines in the world.
Liverpool was officially welcomed into the prestigious Fête le vin family, alongside Brussels, Quebec, Hong Kong and Bordeaux, and was labelled with the most successful inaugural year by Vins de Bordeaux bringing Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson, Director of Culture Liverpool Claire McColgan, and Chef Patron of Art School Restaurant Paul Askew onto the Grand Conseil du vin de Bordeaux, Liverpool welcomes back
