Bowring Park set to launch festive ‘Christmas Town’ this Friday

Bowring Park in Huyton is set to transform into Christmas Town from Friday, 29 November 2024, until 22 December.

Offering a magical and more intimate festive experience, Christmas Town promises fun for the whole family.

With free parking and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Christmas Town will run every Thursday to Sunday, providing plenty of opportunities to get into the Christmas spirit.

Here’s what to expect:

Delicious Festive Food and Drink – Sip on mulled wine, hot chocolate, and spiced lattes while indulging in seasonal favourites like mince pies and bratwursts.
Artisan Stalls – Discover unique gifts, handmade crafts, and festive goodies from local vendors.
Sustainable Christmas Tree Farm – Care for the environment by picking out the perfect Christmas tree, plant a free sapling, and recycle your tree in January.
Family Workshops – Get creative with festive activities like wreath and ornament making, paint and sip sessions and craft’ernoon tea.
Live Entertainment – Enjoy performances and music on selected nights
Throughout the month there will be a number of featured activities such as Christmas movies, Santa storytelling, ornament and wreath making – so whether you’re looking to come with the family or friends, there’s something for everyone.

Bowring Park is managed by Oneday, who worked with the local community to organise the most successful Christmas Lights Switch-on the area has had in a decade. And they’re hoping Christmas Town will be just as successful.
