BrewDog Liverpool is teaming up with Black Lodge Brewery for this year’s CollabFest
1 year ago
From 19 – 22 October, BrewDog is opening its doors once again to its annual “Collabfest”, with 31 bars across Europe participating.
BrewDog Liverpool will be taking part this year, teaming up with Black Lodge, creating Like we Did Last Summer, a 7.2% imperial sour.
Each bar will team up with local independent brewery from that region, creating a beer that will then be distributed across BrewDog’s network of bars for customers to taste and vote for their favourite via Untappd – a brilliant opportunity for smaller local breweries to have their beers showcased across the country.
Bars will host a different line-up of beer every day, allowing visiting customers to trial a wide selection. Each bar will also have interactive booklets and stickers on display, so customers can get involved and record their own bespoke reviews for each brew.
This will also be the only chance for members of the public to try these bespoke beers – available for that weekend only!
Other breweries taking part include, Bang The Elephant collabing with BrewDog Nottingham, BrewDog Oslo teaming up with Molo Brew, and Gipsy Hill joining forces with BrewDog Shoreditch.
The BrewDog website will also have a live leaderboard of the competing beers, pulling ratings directly from Untappd. Which beer will be crowned the best in Europe? It’s time for the public to decide!
James Watt, Co-Founder and CEO of BrewDog, says:
“Nothing beats a bit of healthy competition, so I am delighted to announce that Collabfest is returning to BrewDog bars across Europe.
“With 31 different brews being created – from IPAs, to stouts, to sours, the competition is going to be fierce – I’m just glad it’s not me having to decide between them all! I can’t wait to see what gets crowned as the best of the rest.”
