Calling all Merseyside Musicians – Huge prize up for grabs from Merseyrail Sound Station

Are you a musician based in or around Merseyside? Fancy winning a year of professional music industry management, recording time at one of the best studios in the North West and Merserrail travel for a year to get you to and from your gigs?

Well the Merseyrail Sound Station Prize is back for 2016 and they are looking for you to get involved. Whether you are a solo singer, in a band duo, whatever!

The mentoring will include everything from helping booking gigs and festival appearances, developing your live show, getting the most from the recording studio, how to self-release your music, how to approach record labels and publishing masterclasses. This is essentially a year long programme giving you all the tools you need to get on in the modern music industry.

Former winners include Guide Liverpool favourite Katy Alex and rapper Blue Saint who both have gone on to perform at some of the area’s biggest festivals and gigs.
