Camp and Furnace is set to kick off 2025 with a bang, announcing that every Friday night will be dedicated to live music in celebration of legendary bands and artists from across the decades.
From Oasis to Coldplay, The Smiths to Led Zeppelin, and Blondie to Bowie, the venue will host a variety of musical celebrations every week, with occasional bonus Saturday shows for those who want to keep the weekend vibes going.
The series will begin on Saturday, January 4th, 2025, with a highly anticipated performance by Supersonic Queen (Queen tribute act), followed by The Classic Double Band, Friday, January 10th, who will bring their dynamic interpretation of David Bowie and Roxy Music to the Camp and Furnace stage.
Scott Hudson, General Manager of Camp and Furnace, said:
“Live music has proved really popular at the venue in 2024, and we’ve really enjoyed having great musicians play here, so we’ve decided to make a lot more of it in 2025. We’re thrilled to be able to bring a full year of iconic music to Liverpool, giving fans a chance to hear their favourite classic bands performed live in an intimate setting.”
Fans can expect an eclectic and exciting lineup of tributes, celebrating some of the most beloved artists in rock and pop history, including Fleetwood Mac, Motörhead, and Radiohead. Back by popular demand, The Classic Double Band will also continue to bring their interpretations of classic albums to the venue, with performances spanning the music of Led Zeppelin, The Clash, Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, and more.
Greta Speed, Senior Manager at Camp and Furnace, added:
“We’ve always prided ourselves on offering something different, and this new weekly music program is a reflection of that. From the sounds of Paul Weller and U2 to ACDC and Nirvana, there’s truly something for everyone. We can’t wait to see how our audience will embrace the exciting mix of performances we’ve got lined up.”
With its unique industrial setting and immersive atmosphere, Camp and Furnace has established itself as a must-visit venue in Liverpool. The new weekly performances will add to its already impressive calendar of cultural happenings, further cementing the venue’s status as a hub for live entertainment and unique events in the city.
