Camp and Furnace is throwing a Britney Disco to celebrate the pop star’s 40th birthday
2 years ago

It’s been a huge week for Britney Spears as she takes back control of her life after a conservatorship ruling over the singer came to an end after 13 years.
The pop star said it was the “best day ever” after being released from under the tight control of her father Jamie Spears and co-conservators on Friday, with the 39-year-old now able to make her own medical, financial and personal decisions.
Now, if you thought that wasn’t enough to throw a major party, the hitmaker is also set to turn 40 on December 2 with Liverpool venue Camp and Furnace hosting a huge celebration in Britney’s honour.
Britney’s Disco, which takes place from 8pm to 1am on Saturday 20 November, is a night dedicated to the ultimate princess of pop featuring her biggest and best pop hits, most iconic music videos, collaborations, influences and style.
There will live performances with a singer and dancers entertaining crowds with hits such as Baby One More Time, Circus, Crazy, Toxic, Gimme More, Womanizer, Oops!…I Did It Again, I’m A Slave 4 U, Work B*tch, Piece Of Me, If U Seek Amy, Lucky, Me Against The Music, Stronger and Boys.
Camp and Furnace director Paul Speak said:
“Come and celebrate all things Britney Spears. Alongside our live performers, we will also have a 2000s disco and themed cocktails while dress up is encouraged.
“Music video moments and big visual surprises are also in store for those ready to celebrate the princess of pop gaining back control of her life and hitting the big 4-0.”
Britney’s explosive 23-year solo career boasts some of the most iconic singles, albums, music videos and live performances in music history.
