Shuffle has landed in Liverpool and is rewarding you for eating out at your favourite restaurants. 🤩

The Shuffle app lets you unlock cash rewards at some of the city’s best restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The idea is to celebrate Liverpool’s brilliant food and drink scene and give customers a reward for supporting it.

Shuffle doesn’t get you to scan codes or collect loyalty points to earn cash. All you have to do is download Shuffle, follow the easy step-by-step instructions, pay with your usual bank card when you’re eating or drinking at a partner venue and that’s it – real money rewards will land straight into your account.

Partner venues already collaborating and giving cash to customers include Belzan, Nord, Bundobust, Maray, Madre, Bold Street Coffee, Petit Cafe and One O’Clock Gun at the Albert Dock.

The 25/26 Premier League season’s about to kick off and for Everton it’s going to be an exciting landmark one at the new Hill Dickinson Stadium.

A new stadium means new matchday routines and that includes the most important one before and after games … getting to and from the ground.

If you want to take the stress out of doing that, and avoid any parking hassles and charges, one of the best ways is to hop on a bus.

Ahead of the first home game of the season against Brighton on Sunday, Arriva has launched dedicated matchday bus services, the 929 and 939, to help fans travel to the new waterfront stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock quickly and easily.

There are routes to cover you, whether you’re heading to the ground from south Liverpool and the city centre, or from north Liverpool.

Dramatic scenes from Woolton this evening as a large fire engulfs Woolton Hall.

Woolton Hall was built in 1704 and has since served various purposes including a school and an army hospital during WW1.

It’s been vacant since 2006 and sits just next to St. Julie’s High School.

Three years on from shootings that ‘rocked’ Liverpool, Merseyside Police say they are working closer than ever with local communities.

Merseyside Police was one of the first forces in the country to receive Home Office funding for a Clear, Hold, Build initiative – known locally as Evolve – following the deaths of Olivia Pratt-Korbel, nine, 28-year-old environmental health worker Ashley Dale and Sam Rimmer, 22, in August 2022.

Three years on from its launch, the force says the scheme – now rolled out across four areas – has led to a 300% increase in community intelligence.

Detective Chief Superintendent Graeme Robson said the three murders “rocked” the area, but police had seen a “strong and positive response”.
