The weekend in Liverpool has landed and it’s looking bright as River of Light returns for 2024. 😍

There are 12 light up art installations to check out on the waterfront and this year is all about PLAY, meaning you can interact with each of them.

This afternoon some of Liverpool’s business community have come together at ACC Liverpool to discuss the future of Zoe’s Place.

It has been announced that the next chapter of the Zoe’s Place journey will go ahead “Zoe’s 2.0” with the help of fundraising so far. But that more support is desperately needed for the new plans to be taken forward.

Just look what happens when Liverpool comes together 💙❤️

Further details will be announced soon, but for now the hope is that the continued support and donations will fund a brand new baby hospice for Liverpool, based in West Derby 👏

The opening of The Holly Johnson Story exhibition celebrates the 40th anniversary of Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s ground-breaking album Welcome to the Pleasuredome and delves into the legacy of Holly Johnson as a trailblazer for the LGBTQ+ community.

The Holly Johnson Story has been produced by Homotopia, DuoVision Arts and National Museums Liverpool, in collaboration with Holly Johnson.

Meet the man behind the Pete Burns exhibition in Port Sunlight.

A Port Sunlight exhibition of photos featuring Liverpool music icon Pete Burns reveals an off-stage side to the flamboyant star alongside his famous on-stage persona.

Total Stranger, which is on display in Port Sunlight where Pete was from, brings together archive images by photographer Francesco Mellina.

40 photographs are on display, with a further 100 collated into a presentation, many of which have never been seen before.

They include intimate backstage shots of Pete from his early career with Nightmares in Wax and then Dead or Alive, as well as those showing him performing.

Jay met Francesco at Bridge Cottage which is home@to the exhibition in Port Sunlight.
