Celebrate World Students’ Day in Liverpool

World Students’ Day (Saturday 15th October) is a celebration of multiculturalism, diversity and cooperation amongst students across the globe….bottom line is, its another excuse to party!
Cards on the table, we absolutely love the Liverpool student population, you guys bring so much to the city! From impressive fancy dress nights out to your mad drinking games, pub quiz knowledge and huge appreciation for our take-away’s and charity shops! Plus most of your are actually really clever too!
In short, you guys rock! And to celebrate you wonderful people, we’ve rounded up a whole bunch of ways for you to celebrate your student status!
1 – Capital Monster Mash
Capital are bringing one hell of a monstrous party to Mountford Hall just in time for halloween and coming with it are some of the biggest DJ’s and dance acts of the moment. Get 27th October stuck in your diary and get your tickets here.
2 – Vevo Halloween – Bramley Moore Dock

Bramley Moore Dock is the place to be this October as the Vevo Halloween event hits Liverpool. With a stellar line up of local and international acts such as Jack Garrat, Blossoms, Izzy Bizu and Aurora, the additional of Zara Larsson has helped these tickets absolutely fly out. 3 – LEVEL, Fleet Street
LOVE Wednesday’s, officially Liverpool’s biggest weekly student event.Celebrate World Students’ Day with Liverpool SU and Cool IT as they announce Big Narstie will be coming to LEVEL nightclub on Saturday 15th October. All Freshers Fest wristband holders will gain free entry to this event with their welcome week wristband. More information on their Facebook page here.
4 – Medication, Seel Street
Since 1995 Medication has been on of Liverpool’s most iconic student night out, taking place every Wednesday, and now every Friday at The Arts Club, Seel Street, during term time as an extra treat. With loads of fancy dress theme nights, thousands of giveaways and millions of cheap drinks and sweets, its no wonder that Medication’s Halloween parties are always a sell out, get yours here!
Okay so it’s not all about the booze, no really! We’ve stuck in a couple of activities to help you celebrate World Students’ Day that are a proper laugh without having to pour shots!
5 – Darkstar Laser, St Helens
Darkstar Laser is offering a student experience with a difference – perfect for World Students’ Day. The UK’s largest indoor laser tag venue is providing a selection of fun and purse-friendly offers at its award winning central St Helens location. 6 – Velocity 2
Velocity 2 is encouraging North West students to jump on board the trampolining craze to mark World Students’ Day. 7 – Concert Square
Even if you’ve only been in the city for a couple of weeks you’ll already know that Concert Square is the place to be all week around for food, fun and ridiculously cheap drinks, it’s like the natural home for students and new comers to the city. So what better way to celebrate World Students’ Day than by checking out McCooley’s, Walkabout and Modo and the amazing atmosphere across the huge outdoor terrace is spot on, all year round?!
8 – Mojito and Tequila Bar, Victoria Street
If you venture over to the other side of town, you’ve gotta get on the cocktails at Tequila Club, above Mojito Bar on Victoria Street. Not only a funky venue with boss house DJ’s, but the cocktails are seriously on point with our very own Lee Butler Brekkie creation on the menu.
