Celebrity Big Brother: Remember when these Scouse stars entered the house?
Celebrity Big Brother is back with a brand new Scouse housemate.
How are we up to series 22 of Celebrity Big Brother already? Whether you’ve been an avid fan since the Channel 4 and Davina days or you only tune in to watch your faves, it gets us all talking year after year. This series, has the theme ‘Eye of the Storm’ and has seen the likes of Hollywood star, Kirstie Alley, Corrie’s Ryan Thomas, Towie’s, Dan Osbourne and footballer, Jermaine Pennant enter the house.
Stormy Daniels is set to boost ratings across the pond following her rumoured affair with US President Donald Trump, Nick Leeson lost his company ÂŁ800 million through fraud and human Ken Doll, Rodrigo Alves can only pack so many fabulous outfits into his trolley case, there’s gonna be drama!
For us, all eyes will be on this year’s Scouse contestant, Gabby Allen. Having made the Love Island 2017 final with then boyfriend Marcel Somerville, she was left heart broken after he admitted cheating, and is now hell bent on showing us all what she’s made of. Watch above as we chatted to Gabby earlier this year as she judged the style contest at the Grand National.
Here’s 10 scouse stars who became Celebrity Big Brother housemates…..
1 – Claire Sweeney
Claire Sweeney flew the flag for Scousers in the first ever series of Celebrity Big Brother back in 2001. Claire was the only housemate to make it to the final without being nominated for eviction once! Comedian Jack Dee was crowned winner.
2 – Danielle Lloyd
Model and Actress, Danielle Lloyd featured in, probably the most chaotic and talked about series of Celebrity Big Brother back in 2007. Series 5 received the most complaints via OFCOM over bullying! Danielle was the 5th housemate evicted from the house.
3 – Tina Malone
Tina Malone set tongues wagging when she stood her ground in true Scouse style with fellow housemate Coolio in series 6 of Celeb Big Brother. She lasted 15 days in the house back in 2009 and the eventual winner was Ulrika Johnson.
4 – Neil Razor Ruddock
Clearly no stranger to a challenge, former red and scouser, Neil Razor Ruddock took on the Celeb Big Brother challenge in 2013 and is rumoured to have been a last minute replacement for Jim Davidson. Razor lasted 23 days under the spot light alongside Rylan Clarke.
5 – Tricia Penrose
Scouse Actress Tricia Penrose, who we all knew and loved as barmaid Gina in Heartbeat appeared in CBB 2013 alongside Steps star Claire Richards and eventual winner, Rylan.
6 – Keith Chegwin
The late, great Keith Chegwin entered the famous house in 2015 and made it to the final of the series. During his time on Big brother he had to not only endure Perez Hilton, but Katie Hopkins too, and he done it with a huge Scouse smile. Sadly Kieth died on 11th December 2017.
7 – Natasha Hamilton
Atomic Kitten singer and panto actress, Natasha Hamilton finished in 3rd place on Celebrity Big Brother 16, UK Vs USA, a brand new format for the show. James Hill went on to win it. We all remember that amazing row with Farah Abraham, Natasha held her own and done Scouse girls all over the land proud. G’wed Tash!
8 – Stephanie Davis
Former Hollyoaks and Over the Rainbow actress, Stephanie Davis joined Chris in the house for series 17 alongside a huge host of stars including the late David Gest and Angie Bowie. Despite kicking off on a number of occasions, Stephanie was runner up on day 32.
9 – Derek Acorah
Psychic, Derek Acorah couldn’t possibly have predicted what lay in store as he joined the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2017, finishing up an impressive fourth as Girls Aloud band member Sarah Harding took the top spot.
10 – John Barnes
Alright so former red John Barnes, is Jamaican born so technically not scouse but we’re claiming him as a Liverpool legend! Our John (yep we did) was unfairly booted out of the house after 20 days earlier this year as Celebrity Big Brother 21, coined as ‘The Year of the Woman’, set the guys against the girls in daily tasks.
