Channel 4’s groundbreaking social experiment, The Jury, is back for a new series – and this time, they’re filming right here in Liverpool! If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to serve as a juror, this is your chance to experience the weight of delivering a verdict on a real-life case.
The Jury takes an unfiltered look at the UK justice system, bringing together ordinary people from all walks of life to deliberate on a case, shining a light on the immense pressure and responsibility that jurors face.
The new series will film in Liverpool in January 2025, offering locals the chance to participate in this unique social experiment. It’s not just a TV show – it’s a powerful exploration of justice in action, sparking conversations about the challenges and complexities of the UK’s legal system.
Channel 4 and Trilogy Casting are currently on the hunt for Liverpool-based individuals to join the jury panel.
Whether you’re a student, a professional, retired, or anything in between – The Jury is looking for a diverse cross-section of the city to reflect the real-life makeup of juries across the UK.
Ed Kellie, Founder of Screendog Productions, said:
“We’re delighted to be casting in Liverpool. We didn’t want to make yet another programme from the South East, and we’re excited to feature the perspectives of this iconic city.”
Hally Laws, Casting Executive at Trilogy Casting, added:
“Anyone can sit on a jury, and that’s what makes this show so compelling. Last year, we met people from all walks of life, and we can’t wait to do the same in Liverpool.”
