Ever So Wonderful variety shows are based in Liverpool and have run many other shows attended by thousands of people in the city since their launch in 2019.
Organiser Emma Cox said:
“We are absolutely delighted to be running a charity fundraising Variety Show at The Casa on Saturday 10th December.”
Entertainment will include live performances from several local singers, dancers, actors and musicians. Funds raised will go to SCCM, a sickle cell charity supporting people with this life-threatening blood condition. Sickle cell disease mainly affects people from ethnic minorities.
ESW’s Emma Cox added: “Sickle cell is an inherited blood disorder where the red blood cells which carry oxygen around the body develop abnormally. A sickle cell crisis can cause severe pain, tiredness and breathlessness. Complications of sickle cell include strokes, increased vulnerability to infections, chest, heart and mobility problems, eye complications and premature death. SCCM do wonderful work supporting people living with sickle cell. We are delighted to be fundraising for them”.
