The annual festive gig will featuring a host of special guests and will take place on Friday 8 December at the Tung Auditorium!
The Choir with No Name (CWNN) Liverpool, a choir involving people impacted by homelessness, will be kick-starting the city’s festive season with a big Christmas singalong at the Tung Auditorium on Friday 8 December.
Building on the success of its annual ‘Big Gig’ at the Everyman earlier this year, the Choir with No Name will get the season started in the best way possible – with a rip-roaring, fun-filled Christmas extravaganza, inviting everyone to come along and join in singing all their favourite festive songs.
As well as an audience in fine voice, The Choir with No Name will also be joined by special guests the Liverpool UNIty Choir and Asylum Link Merseyside Choir. Guests can expect an evening of truly joyful performances, filled with festive magic and sing-alongs to release the Christmas spirit, and raise the roof of the auditorium.
CWNN Liverpool Choir Manager, Ema Quinn, said:
“We cannot wait to sing alongside our fabulous special guests and treat our audience to some real Christmas magic. We want to welcome as many people as possible to join our inclusive, positive and joy-filled show, so we can spread the festive cheer far and wide.”
“As well as being bags of fun, the profits made through ticket sales and donations on the night support the cost of keeping our weekly choir rehearsal running and our members singing well into the future, which will be the very best Christmas present for us all!”
The Choir with No Name runs choirs and builds joyful singing communities with homeless and marginalised people, around the UK, with the Liverpool group singing its heart out since 2014.
