Come and check out The Lodge’s movie night at The Clubhouse, Liverpool ONE
7 years ago
It’s Autumn, the best season for cosy film nights in a brand new venue.
We had the time of our lives last night as The Lodge at The Club House, Liverpool One officially opened for an Autumn season, jam-packed with classic films for all ages. The opening night showed Dirty Dancing and never in the history of the world has a room full of women (and a few blokes too) been so quiet, however, no watermelons we’re carried during the showing of the film.
With viewings from 5th-31st October, The Lodge invites you to check out its beautifully decorated interior, sink into a big comfortable sofa and enjoy the show.
Throughout October, The Lodge is showing a number of classic and kids films with a mouth-watering menu and some additional extras that make this anything but a routine trip to the cinema. From matinee film showings for mini movie fans, including Frozen and Lion King to a very special Halloween event strictly for adults, get your mates together, treat the kids or plan a special date night at The Lodge this October. Here’s 5 things we love (and you will too) about The Lodge, Liverpool One…..
1 – The Location
The Club House at Liverpool One, looks more inviting than ever strung with lights in the Autumnal evenings and with the addition of The Lodge, you’re invited to enjoy great food, top class service and of course, a classic film, all in one place.
2 – The Interior
Littered with comfortable sofas and arm chairs, a dedicated bar, a huge fireplace and of course authentic winter decorations, The Lodge is a luxury ski hut that offers a warm welcome. With fleecy blankets, faux fur rugs and throws and a great view of the giant screen, you can truly relax and get comfy while you sing and quote along to your favourite film.
3 – The Films
Okay, are you ready for this? Classic and cult films now booking include; Mean Girls, Hangover, Pulp Fiction, American Pie, Anchorman, Austin Powers and Legally Blonde. Kids films (we know you love them too) include; The Lion King, Minions, Ghostbuster (1984) Inside Out, Aladdin, Monsters Inc and more. Which one will you choose?
4 – The Food
In with the price of your ticket is a drink on arrival and 2 or 3 course meal, prepared and served directly from The Club House. With dishes such as traditional Mac & Cheese, gooey baked camembert with fig chutney, and an absolute winner of a dessert in chocolate ice-cream with toasted marshmallows and popping candy, we’re talking seriously good film munchies here!
5 – The Service
As you’d expect with any Club House event, the service is top class. Food is served to your seats at regular intervals during the screening and the staff are friendly, discreet and they can quote as many classic film lines as you!
