Grand National weekend looks to be yet another brilliant edition as the latest report on the condition of the courses and details of the weekends non-runners is in.
The going for day one of the opening day is:
Mildmay Course (Chase/Hurdle): Good to Soft
Grand National Course: Good to Soft
Last week there was 0.8mm of rain on Wednesday, 0.8mm on Thursday, 0.2mm on Friday and 0.4mm on Sunday. It has been dry since.
The forecast is for cloudier conditions with a chance of light showers today and tomorrow (0-2mm). There will also be some sunny spells.
Saturday is forecast to be mostly cloudy, with occasional showers (1-4mm).
Watering has taken place over the last week on Thursday (8-10mm), Friday (5-6mm), Saturday (5-6mm), Monday (8-10mm), Tuesday (8-10mm) and Wednesday (6-8mm).
