One of the countries best live bands have announced their biggest tour to date and guess what, they are bringing one of the biggest shows of the tour to Liverpool. Ahead of the release of their fifth album and a brand new single, Courtneers hit the Echo Arena on Friday 18th November.
No One Will Ever Replace Us is a modern day anthem dedicated to a very British kind of summertime love. The band’s Liam Fray says of the song, “it’s about finding love in the unlikely surroundings of Glastonbury. There’s almost an under-pinning fear about when you’ve got something so good, and you don’t want it to end.” The track is available digitally (and as an instant grat with album pre-orders) from Tuesday August 30th. No One Will Ever Replace Us is the second track taken from Courteeners fifth album, Mapping the Rendevous (following the brilliant recently released track The 17th).
Courteeners play a series of autumn dates that takes in arenas and concert halls across the country. Clean Cut Kid support on all dates; additional support from Milburn (Leeds and Liverpool) and The View (Glasgow).
Courteeners fifth album – Mapping the Rendezvous – is released on October 21st 2016. Produced by the band’s regular collaborator Joe Cross, Mapping the Rendezvous is the band’s biggest and best album to date – hugely confident and supremely hook-heavy. The album is Courteeners first release on Ignition Records.
