Crazy Pedro’s is at it again with Liverpool’s most controversial pizza topping

Sometimes margarita just isn’t enough…

From the Chicken and Waffle to the Dirty Northerner, Crazy Pedro’s never shy away from a wacky topping, but they’ve taken it to a new level with this month’s pizza special – ‘I Don’t Like Cricket, I Love It!’ which features crispy fried shallots, mozzarella, lime, sriracha, coriander and a healthy dose of fried crickets!

Yeah you heard! It might sound like an ‘I’m a Celebrity’ bush tucker trial but this creation truly is a taste sensation! The taste of the crickets has been likened to everything from pistachios to chicken and bacon, but we’d suggest you fly down to your nearest Pedro’s and try for yourself!

Speaking on the outlandish special, Lyndon Higginson, Director at Crazy Pedro’s said: “We’ve done some pretty outrageous stuff so far but this one has taken it up a notch. There are some amazing flavours to be found if you broaden your horizons a little, we’ve always taken inspiration from international recipes, so why not try a delicacy this time?! We’d never want to be ‘just another pizza place’ and hope our customers are open to trying something new and stepping out of their comfort zone!”

The party never ends at Crazy Pedro’s, open 7 days a week from 12pm to 4am. Pedro’s mindset is to start early and continue to the crack of dawn. Did we mention that Pedro’s stock one of the biggest selections of tequila and mezcal in Europe? Come join us, no bookings, no table service, just head straight to the bar and order away – no drama, all chills.

To book your place please email info@crazypedros.co.uk or call 0151 559 2599. Minimum of two people per booking. For more information, please visit www.crazypedros.co.uk
